Guardian Malaysia Memeriahkan Suasana Bulan Ramadan

Guardian Malaysia memeriahkan suasana bulan Ramadan dengan mengadakan jamuan malam aidilfitri bersama Guardian. Saya sekeluarga dijemput bersama sama dengan 100 anak anak daripada 3 buah rumah kebajikan untuk memeriahkan suasana. Antaranya ialah dari Pertubuhan Kebajikan dan Perlindungan Nur Qaseh Malaysia, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Anak-anak Yatim Al-Nasuha, dan Pusat Jagaan Baitus Sakinah Wal Mahabbah. Setiap Rumah mennerima Baucer Bernilai RM10,000 dan mereka bolehlah menembus nilainya dengan barangan keperluan di Guardian kelak.

Terima Kasih Guardian atas sumbangan iklas dan saya harap ianya akan berkekalan pada masa akan datang. Kami semua disajikan dengan makanan raya yang enak, kepelbagaian dalam menu seperti spagati yang dimasak oleh chef juga memberikan kelainanan selain juadah raya, contohnya rendang, kambing. sayur lodeh, rending, serunding, lemang, ketupat dan sebagainya

 Saya dapat merasakan kemeriahan dan muka budak berseri seri memakai pakaian baru, turut serta jemputan Guardian kepada kami untuk bersama sama dengan ahli peniagaan Guardian yang lain. Sebelum kami menjamu selera, kami dihidangkan dengan pelbagai aktiviti seperti Photobooth, Lukisan karikatur oleh artis tempatan. Ayaman Ketupat juga turut diajar dan anak anak kecil kami berpeluang untuk belajar mengayam Ketupat. Fuh! Bukan mudah untuk belajar melakukannya. Apapun ianya usaha terbaik untuk meneruskan tradisi dan keriangan bersama.Dendangan musik raya secara live juga dimainkan di tepi pintu besar dewan memang mengasyikkan. Anak kecil saya tak nak berganjak daripada mereka kerana minatnya dengan gendang dan alat musik. Memang terbaiklah persembahan mereka ni!


Tiket wayang percuma juga diberikan dan ianya ditaja oleh MCT Berhad. Permandangan di luar dewan juga begitu indah untuk dinikmati dengan angina segar dan kencang! Langkap yang menarik dan indah menjadikan venue yang dipilih ini sesuai untuk majlis keramaian. Tetamu juga boleh menyampaikan mesej bermotivasi kepada kanak kanak jemputan dengan anak patung untuk mereka dibawa pulang. Suasana dimeriahkan lagi dengan dendangan lagu raya serta tarian oleh penari penari tradisional.


Kami cukup puas dengan sajian makanan. Makan lebih daripada sepatutnya, tapi bagi saya sebagai atlit, satu latihan kayuhan yang kuat mampu membakar semua kalori yang dibawa balik bersama. Kenangan malam Aidilfitri ini tak akan saya lupakan dan diharap jemputan akan datang pada raya baru kelak. Sekian!

Malaysia IT Fair 2015 is back again!

Malaysia IT Fair is back! It will be happening this 28-31 Aug 2015. Just nice, as it's a weekend and it's MERDEKA weekend, so it's the best time to throng Mid Valley Exhibition Centre to find the best deals.



I sell a lot of Kaspersky Anti-Virus, but it's ok if you want to go the Malaysia IT Fair and buy some this time, because it's really cheap there. You probably can get those buy 1 free 1 deals like the previous event I went to called MOBITE.


Besides that, everyone that shopped will surely win something. There would be huge deals like 55 inch Smart TV, and many auctions that start at only RM1!


Previously, I did not go to buy a lot of things, but I noticed a lot of new tech, like GPS Watches, WIFI HDD, and everyone was crowding to buy the 28 Sen SD Card and Laptop bags (which I bought too and still using now).


Other things available at Malaysia IT Fair are even furniture,  as Courts was there last time, and definitely the mobile phones. Is it about time to change your handphones, or have you been eyeing that latest model? The handphone not the girl ok...if so do check them out at Malaysia IT Fair 2015 this 28-31 August, because you can get a better deal there and also a lot of goodies and freebies that come with it. After all, I believe GST is absorbed at these fares.

Wayang filem To the Fore oleh Pengarah filem Dante Lam memang dinanti-nantikan oleh pengemar sukan berbasikal jalan raya. Filem ini membuatkan saya sebagai penonton dan pengayuh basikal melonjak kegembiraan kerana memang ianya merupakan filem hasil orang asia, di mana kita melihat watak wataknya menyerupai kita dari segi susuk badan kita, saiz basikal dan kawasan kayuhan.


 

Pelakon utamanya Ming, Tian, Zhiyuan dan Shiyao dikembangkan dengan baik setiap wataknya. Sudut cerita watak-watak ini dikembangkan dari segi cita-cita, kelakuan, perubahan dari segi masa serta setiap kekuatan dan kelemahan seseorang. Pengarah memasukkan banyak bahagian emosi , masalah yang biasa dihadapi di dalam pertandingan, Pengurusan kelab, kejayaan sesuatu acara serta unsur unsur penipuan perlumbaan dilakonkan di sini. Saya ada terasa pipiku basah kerana ada sebahagian cerita ini berkait rapat dengan kehidupan saya. Nasib baik cinema itu gelap, takut orang lain ternampak saya.



Babak romantiknya cukup menarik, mengingatkan masa saya mengejar isteri saya dahulu.



Saya cukup teruja dengan jalan ceritanya yang penuh dengan agedan kejar mengejar, mendaki bukit, kecederaan yang menyakitkan dan memang ianya sakit,luka lama saya tak sembuh lagi, oleh itu saya merasai kesakitan mereka.

Persahabatan yang erat antara pasukan dan cinta yang berputik antara watak utama itu membuatkan filem ini bukan sahaja melibatkan basikal sahaja tapi kehidupan manusia biasa.



Tempat tempat scenic yang cantik dan sesuai untuk aktiviti berbasikal ini bukan sahaja membuatkan saya suka menontonnya, malah saya bercadang untuk melawat tempat tempat tersebut pada masa akan datang. Saya juga dapat melihat keindahan setiap kawasan dan di samping itu melihat teknologi yang digunakan untuk membuat pengambaran ini. Banyak kamera berdefinasi tinggi digunakan, dipasangkan pada pelbagai posisi untuk tangkapan imej watak dan aksi yang tengah dirasai oleh pengayuh dapat dirasai oleh penonton sendiri. Teriakan pada penghujung sprinting, pengalaman nyaris maut dan kesakitan daripada luka jelas dipaparkan . ini adalah sesuatu yang jarang dirasai oleh penonton biasa. Bagi saya setiap aksi ini sangat benar kerana saya pun mengalaminya sewaktu berjambori MTB .



Penggunaan Basikal Merida jelas terpampang kerana penajaan lebih daripada 400 biji basikal dalam pembikinan filem ini. Basikal Merida cukup ternama di dalam pasaran dunia dan ini sekaligus membuatkan kualiti keseluruhan perlumbaan Nampak professional dan boleh dibandingkan dengan Giro di Itali. Kepelbagaian jenis pelumbaan sama ada di pusat Bandar, di luar kawasan lereng gunung, tepi persisiran pantai, Keirin dan kawasan gurun menceritakan pelbagai cabaran yang perlu dihadapi oleh pelumba jalan raya. Bukan setiap atlit basikal kuat pada semua bahagian. Oleh itu dapat dirasakan kekuatan rider pada bahagian bahagian pelumbaan. Saya kuat pada pendakian , jadi agedan mendaki tu memang menusuk jiwa saya semas gambaran mendaki gunung di Taiwan. Saya rasa saya perlu mendaki gunung itu pada masa akan datang.





Saya rasa pembikinan filem ini banyak memberikan manfaat kepada bakal pelumba basikal ataupun yang ingin menjaga kesihatan. Semangat yang utuh dan tidak mudah untuk berputus asa pada setiap karater, sedikit sebanyak menaikkan semangat untuk terus Berjaya dan menjadi yang terbaik. Kesihatan daripada berbasikal ini boleh menjadikan kita berasa cergas dan aktif. Aktiviti seharian seperti kerja di pejabat yang menjadikan kita pasif dan banyak terkumpul lemak di bawah kulit ini harus kita imbangi dengan berbasikal atau bersenam selalu.

Filem ini memang disarankan untuk semua. Rider basikal atau tidak, dua jam setengah ini tak cukup untuk kita menyaksikan aksi nya. Masa seterusnya untuk kerja, rehat dan senaman juga sebagai pemangkin hidup yang seimbang.

Yummy Pelicana Fried Chicken Review

Last week, I got the chance to review the latest crazy Korean Fried Chicken in town, Pelicana Chicken now in Ecurve. It was a long day taking care of my boys and to end it with feasting on some delicious chicken to replenish my energy was a welcomed plan.



Although this is considered a fast food joint, there are many types of healthy options when it comes to drinks. Here I am caught drinking Pelicana Signature Mocktails  Forest Maracuja. It is a mixed of different kinds of real fruits so I drank it up before the chicken even came.



So many more types of drinks available here, softdrinks to canned yogurt drinks, but for starters we had the Pelicana Signature Mocktails, Passion Fruit Peach and Forest Maracuja, Pelicana Signature Mocktails, Passion Fruit Peach and Forest Maracuja at RM8.50 each. I love all of them, they tasted great and is great for health I am sure.



Besides chicken, we can have healthy rice meals like the Korean Fragrant Rice served with Two Side Dish of Seaweed and Radish Salad. I love the rice, I need my carb loading to get back more energy, and it's very nice soft rice, perfect to be eaten with the chicken later.



Peli Crunchy Chicken Wings and Biggie Drums. We eat this dipped in the special yellow sauce, I think made of mustard and wasabi.



This is the only chicken that Josiah can eat because it is crunchy and not hot.



Peli YangNyeom Chicken Spring Onion is also fried but with spring onion covering it and the skin is more juicy type, is it some kind of their special sauce? It just makes it delicious, also not spicy for me, but maybe the inside got a little spice that the children don't like.
 

Peli YangNyeom Chicken Original, the difference between this and the above is this one does not have wasabi taste. I guess some people might not like wasabi so they should order this one. Not spicy too.



The Pelicana Chicken so popular here, you see many people want to take pics of it first before eating.



Peli YangNyeom Chicken Charcoal BBQ I like this one because finally I feel a bit of challenge with the spicy level, I love that feeling, able to taste the juicy taste yet also the chilli taste, makes me need more of that juice just now. By the way, Pelicana also serve plain water if you can't take it anymore, just ask the friendly staff they will help you.



They told me there's another hotter chicken that above, so I couldn't wait to taste this the Hot Spice! Everyone wants to have a piece of it to see how hot it was, and I tell you, it's really very hot, so hot that you want more of it. Eat the Chilli on top together if it's not hot and spicy enough for you!



So spicy made me think of this, my wife old time fav girl band,





Finally we tried the burger, Peli Jumbo Fillet Burger, got many more in the menu, but we all cannot eat anymore, but I can be sure all of them taste great like this one. So good, I am burger lover so I think I sure order this every time. They also have fish types.



Then, they serve this Ramadhan Platter and I was quite shocked as we were already too full, but it's ok, it was meant for us to take pics only, we can't eat anymore but during this Holy Month of Ramadhan, anyone is free can come here to dine for Buka Puasa, as this platter can suit for 4 pax or 6 pax, depending how fruitful your family is! For me, 4 pax one is enough!



See the chicken looked so delicious, I want to go back and eat right now. Who wants to join me? Come jom sama sama pergi ke...

TWITTER Sutama MTB Jamboree 2015

Check out the before race video and see if you can spot yourself in here.

This was a very hard with 800 racers flagged off by 8.15am and another 2000 Jamboree riders only flagged off after that. The whole trail was about 32 km with six hills to climb and the toughest hill was called Bukit Babi with three segments.

The trail started off with Elmina Palm Tree estate and then later to the pure virgin jungle single trail and ended with 1KM technical trail.  I had a fall while going downhill at Bukit Babi and my freshly healed wound tore again. It was very painful to continue but I managed to finish it below 100. My ranking was Junior Master 29 and overall 94.

USIM Jamboree 2015

My last Jamboree was at USIM in Nilai on 31 May 2015. This is my first time recording the before after of the event. Do check it out above if you have never been to a jamboree!

Check out my ride video. There are about 500 riders on that day. 

The trail is considered Easy, with 2 main climb, fast track and rideable for all.  It took me 1 hour 10 min to finish 30 KM, overall 14 position, Men Open 9th position. There was about 10km on road and the rest was off road.  

There was 2 river crossing and we didn't need to go down and push at all.
